Mums, Loss, Grief.
Warning: THIS POST IS NOT AN OBITUARY OR TRIBUTE, IF I SEE ANY CONDOLENCE, I AM BLOCKING YOU ASAP. I’ve always wondered how life post my mum’s demise would be (don’t judge, this is a safe space and I want to know all possible outcome). Also, tbh, I am slightly (okay, scratch that) greatly obsessed with the entire concept of death and loss. Anyway, back to my story, I got an hint of how it would probably feel like. You see, my mum (read, Iya Bolu) is coordinating a project in the village her church is situated (yes, I am a pastor’s seed) and this project requires her to be there every weekend. The first time she left, I had forgotten about the trip, I just assumed that she would be home ( they have a saying about assumptions,right?) you could imagine my shock, despair and hunger(major issue) when I realized that I’d be spending the rest of the weekend alone.
