It is the end of the year!!!



Honestly, it has been a rollercoaster year.


I have delayed writing this for days now because I believe the year is not over for me yet. Now, the end is here, so let's get this done with.

I’ve had cause to visit a therapist/ seek professional help several times this year but it was worth it. 

I’ve had to cut off several relationships (family, friends, business) and I am glad I did. 

I’ve been down bad, like deadass broke but God has been coming through for me each time I have a need. 


Majority of my acquisitions this year have been with other people’s money and I am grateful.

I am not an entertainer but this year, 80% of the events I’ve been to, I was paid to attend. 

I found value, met quality people, loved, hated, played, cried, survived, died and lived this year. 

I have received recommendation from places I’ve never expected, encouragements from people I barely know, respect in places I expected otherwise, prayer from strangers, curses from people I have no relationship with, heartbreak from people I never dated, love from people I dislike, hatred from people I loved, honor from superiors… I could go on and on for days. 


I’ll always be grateful to Mrs Habeeb “Iya Bolu” B.O, The Radiating Church, Pastor Samson and Ifeoluwa Odegbami, Dr and Mrs Tomori, Pastor and Mrs Owoyele (Profem and Mofem), Agboola “BBT” Babatunmise, Aina “Tega” Olatomiwa, Egbon Gabriel Oriyomi Solanke, Deborah Anuouwapo Oluwatoyin, Adebayo “SAO Media” Oluwaseyi, Hauwa Lawal, Tife Chris Fagbenro,Toriola Peace, Jaiyesinmi Boluwatife, Faith “Mummy Joy” Ijeremen, Feyisayo Akinhami, Rachel Rojugbokan, Imisioluwa Eminex, Ibrahim “Sadarshy” Yusuph, Tejuosho Diana Oluwatosin, and many others for impacting my 2023.

To the THA Cleaners team and everyone that has worked with us this year, Gracias.

The downside of the year;

  • Losing two phones in three months
  • Having to cut relations with my sister
  • Losing my stepmom
  • I had the worst ever friendship heartbreak.
  • Almost losing my sanity

All said and done, it has been a beautiful year. Despite all the ups and downs, I managed to surpass most of my expectations for the year.

Even though I decided to come outside late in the year, I still managed to surpass my previous years social life. 


I am definitely expecting a better run next year.

What in the name of misandrist feminism did I just read?? 😭 dem don traumatize me😭 First off, sorry this is a bit late but then, this new year has been equal parts hectic and rewarding. Mums, Loss, Grief.

Warning: THIS POST IS NOT AN OBITUARY OR TRIBUTE, IF I SEE ANY CONDOLENCE, I AM BLOCKING YOU ASAP. I’ve always wondered how life post my mum’s demise would be (don’t judge, this is a safe space and I want to know all possible outcome). Also, tbh, I am slightly (okay, scratch that) greatly obsessed with the entire concept of death and loss. Anyway, back to my story, I got an hint of how it would probably feel like. You see, my mum (read, Iya Bolu) is coordinating a project in the village her church is situated (yes, I am a pastor’s seed) and this project requires her to be there every weekend.
